The Universal Paradox Of This Or Nothing
I want to share something with you this afternoon of immense importance. Like literally, I think this might be the missing "link" or hidden truth that is accountable for millions and millions of failures. Originally, I wanted to write up this post a little differently and do a guest post about it on someone else's blog but I thought, what the heck, let's just get this info up and out there.
Now, if anyone knows me well outside of what you already know online which honestly, very few people do, you'll know that I'm incredibly serious about personal development. It absolutely blows my freaking mind all the people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, when if they would switch their focus from "money, money, money, I wanna make some money" to working on their inner game first. This is possibly one of the most important parts of this book. Well, all of this is crucially important but it's this one part that I'm about to reveal to you that held me back for 2 years, after knowing what I had to do, just not knowing the full effect of what I was doing wrong.
I want to save you years of frustration with these 2 vitally important principles.
The first part is taking action. No matter what information you come across, you have to take action to get a good result. There's a lot of stuff going around the last century about one-step systems, “put in a little effort & BOOM big results” kind of products but I'm here to tell you…
To get any desired result, you must take consistent action and be honest with yourself during the process. If you don't, then you will fail every single time.
Failure isn't always a bad thing though: You learn from your mistakes which is priceless but if you don't take action, you fail one time after another and will never experience any kind of success. Just be honest and do whatever keeps you motivated and determined to follow through.
Whatever you do, don't stray from that path. If you happen to fall off, get back on it immediately, no question about it. Remember that…
Now, this second part in terms of how profound, is the same as not knowing anything and then all of a sudden, one day, having all the answers right there before you. In better terms however, it's what we call an “A-HA!” moment.
This can save you a TON of frustration and failure, just this principle alone. As you've learned over the course of this book, you attract to you what you are primarily thinking about. If you're thinking positively, you'll attract positive situations and so on.
What most don't realize is that just because you think you know exactly what you believe, isn't always the truth.
Here's Why
Our brains like to play tricks on us and they do it because they don't want to have to work that hard. Sounds weird but it's the truth. So you spend all this time trying to figure out exactly what beliefs are causing you problems and all of a sudden it comes to you.
“A-HA! That's it! No wonder I've had such failure with this…”
Hardly ever we question it because it just seems so true and plain makes sense!
BUT, by just digging a little deeper, essentially making your mind work a little bit harder, you can find what's really holding you back from whatever it may be.
I had this problem and this was the “tipping point”, the last little hike to the top of the mountain, where my desired result was waiting for me. My problem was money.
My belief was:
Money Is Good & Allows You To Have More Freedom (what we want) And Help Others On A Much Larger Scale
Honest yet true belief that we should all have regarding money. The big problem was, if I just dug a little bit deeper, I would have found this belief that was in direct competition with the belief above…
All These Banks Are Collapsing, The Economy Is In Horrible Shape And What Good Will Money Bring Me Then When It's Worth Nothing?
Listen up and listen VERY closely.
“When the mind is caught between two different beliefs regarding the same subject, it will choose neither because it is confused, leaving you with NOTHING.”
In a sense, I was letting all this media "doom and gloom" bs get at me in a negative way which we all know, a belief like the one I just stated above is pretty extreme and as you can see, destructive.
This is why it's extremely important for you be absolutely clear in what you want and to dig deep finding just what beliefs you have that can either be hurting you or bringing you closer to your desired result.
If you can do this and consistently take action, you'll find yourself in the elite 1% that make big things happen for themselves.
It just takes time…
