This Makes Me A Social Media Expert Now, Right?

[Start rant]

I’m fairly convinced that a lot of people believe that in order to be
successful in Social Media and build a great presence, you’ve just gotta
open up an account, get some decent design going on, have it point
towards your ok website, and then post a ton of links.

I could talk and talk all day but if I’m not listening to anyone and
engaging with others, chances are I look like 1) a loner, 2) a
douchebag, or 3) someone who really doesn’t get it and there’s really
not much here to get.

It’s simply called conversation.

Weave it in with
whatever (hopefully great and valuable stuff) you post, and others will
respond back by engaging with YOU or sharing your stuff.

Just keeping it real…now where’s my expert status? Damn. You gotta work for that stuff.
