VIDEO: Threadsy, Social Media Aggregator

A week or so ago, I did a review on HotBlogTips.com of Hootsuite vs. Tweetdeck. As much as I prefer and love Hootsuite, lately I’ve been having issues. Mostly just annoying API errors where I’ll have to click send a couple times for it to actually send, or my timeline and mentions column not loading when it’s fine elsewhere.

These things however, are to be expected with new versions. Either way, it led me to use Threadsy once again, which, I’ve primarily been using.

When I first opened up an account many months ago (which was invite only at the time), it was great and now they’ve seemed to make it better…

Also, here’s a screenshot of Firefox’s memory usage after being opened with Threadsy running for a couple hours:

In a nutshell, it may run rather slow if you have an older computer (and not a dual core or better) and not more than 1GB of ram. Firefox has been known for years to leak memory over time (I’m currently using 4 beta 1) so feel free to test on another browser as your results could be different.
